ABOUT US

Founded in 1984, the Waukesha NAACP is a local branch of the nation’s oldest and largest civil rights organization. From the ballot box to the classroom, thousands of dedicated workers, organizers, leaders and members who make up the NAACP fight for social justice for all in Waukesha County.

At the Waukesha NAACP, we believe that everyone has value. We strive to be a catalyst for positive change.  Since our beginnings in 1984, our ideals have remained consistent: support, empowerment, and progress.  Learn more about our mission, our vision, and how we go about making the changes we want to see.
