About the Event
Join us for a special celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day with guest speaker Rev. Dr. Jamie Washington, president and founder of the Washington Consulting Group. Dr. Washington has served as an educator, administrator and consultant for nearly 40 years.
Known as “The Engagement Specialist," He sees himself as an instrument of change.  He works every day to help people find the best in themselves and others.
- This event is open to the public and free to attend. Registration is required.
- Doors open at 10:30 a.m. Presentation begins at 11:30 a.m.
- Enjoy a "taste of heritage" at 11 a.m. Lunch includes southern fried/baked chicken, black-eyed peas, baked mac 'n cheese and sweet potato pie.
- The first 100 people to RSVP will receive a free MLK t-shirt!
