About the Event
The McNeely Education Consortium is a collective of universities, correctional facilities, re-entry programs, and related organizations committed to providing system impacted students access to college coursework and eventually a college degree during and post release. Incubated within Marquette University's Center for Urban Research, Teaching & Outreach (CURTO), the McNeely Consortium is anchored on tenets established by the Consortium for Liberal Arts in Prison of Bard College. The McNeely Education Consortium represents the culmination of years-long advocacy for criminal justice reform by R.L. McNeely and the Felmers Chaney Advocacy Board (FCAB).
